Experimental broadcasting

In accordance with Section 19b of the Electronic Communications Act, CTU may grant individual authorisation for the use of radio frequencies for experimental purposes. Experimental purposes are understood to be the utilisation of radio frequencies for research, development and the operative testing of new transmission equipment or to check and identify the physical properties of the radio waves propagation.
Information about the results of utilising radio frequencies for experimental purposes which CTU receives from the operators of experimental transmission will be published on these pages.

Apart from information about the results of experimental transmission undertaken in accordance with Section 19b of the Electronic Communications Act, CTU will also publish here reports and information about the results of testing operations undertaken for the purpose of checking the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of new technological equipment and services or other tests in which CTU takes an active part.
