Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic

After 1 May 2004, the day of Czech Republic’s accession to the EU, the Delegation of the EC, which had played the role of diplomatic representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, was transformed into a Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic. Ms Irena Moozová is Head of Representation since 1 November 2006.

European Union Information Centre at Rytirska 31, 110 00 Praha 1 was closed and the new “Eurocentre Prague” have been situated and opened in the building of the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic in Prague 1, Jungmannova Street since the 24 October 2005. Other Regional European Information Centres were opened in the Czech Republic during the year 2006.
