Analyses of Relevant Markets

The Czech Telecommunication Office is obliged to perform analyses of electronic communications markets in accordance with Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications and on Amendment to Certain Related Acts (the Electronic Communications Act).

The Czech Telecommunication Office has already finished the analyses of all 18 relevant markets identified in the European Commission’s Recommendation on relevant markets. The last notification was sent to the European Commission on 14 July 2006. The European Commission has confirmed approving of all notified analyses. Every single notification of analysis to the relevant market 1 to 18 was assigned by European Commission with case number – see table “List of the relevant markets” below.
