Overview of Administrative Requirements on Radio and Telecommunication Terminal Equipment on the Czech Market

All radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment on the European market (including the Czech market after 1st April 2004) has to fulfil these administrative requirements:

for each product: before placing on the market
on the product on the packaging in enclosed documentation

Name of the manufacturer or the person responsible for placing on the market x1)

Batch and/or serial number x1)

Notification according to Article 6.4 of Directive 1999/5/EC to the Czech Telecom. Office x2)

  • 1 – for all products
  • 2 – not required for products which can transmit only in the regime of the Czech general authorisations
  • 3 – for products assessed according to non-harmonized standards
  • 4 – in original language (English – if the producer is not with seat or domicile in the Czech Republic); can be enclosed also in electronically form or by announcing the web address containing the DoC
