The Czech Telecommunication Office started the selection procedure for the purpose of awarding the rights to use the public electronic communications network radio frequencies in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands

The Czech Telecommunication Office published on 12 July 2012 the final documentation of “Invitation to tender for the award of the rights to use radio frequencies for providing a public communications network in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands” and hereby started the procedure for the award of the 4G mobile spectrum in 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands. The Czech Telecommunication Office published the results of the public consultation on the proposed Invitation to tender in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands documentation

The Czech Telecommunication Office received many comments (available in Czech language only) to the proposed text of “Invitation to tender for the award of the rights to use radio frequencies for providing a public communications network in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands” published on 20 March 2012 during the public consultation. All comments have been analyzed by the Office. The table with received responses and their settlement has been published on 5 July 2012 on the CTU website (in Czech language only).

The Czech Telecommunication Office extended the period for public consultation of the Invitation to tender in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands documentation

To provide sufficient timeframe for responses of all possible applicants and based on a request of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Czech Telecommunication Office extended the period for public consultation. Comments and questions raised in this consultation shall now be submitted to the Czech Telecommunication Office by 11 May 2012.
