Public procurement

The Czech Telecommunication Office, as a central body of state administration, proceeds in commissioning public procurement contracts in accordance with Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on public contracts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act on Public Contracts”).

Basic information about public procurement commissioned by the Czech Telecommunication Office in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement is published in the Bulletin of Public Procurement Contracts (Věstník veřejných zakázek), which is the singular point for publishing basic information about public procurement. Related information is published, in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement, in the Applicant profile of the Czech Telecommunication Office.

When awarding public procurement, the Czech Telecommunications Office proceeds in accordance with the Government Resolution No. 467 of 21 June 2017 on the imposition of the obligation to use the National Electronic Instrument in public procurement, as amended by the Government Resolution No. 408 of 19 June 2018 on the amendment of the Government Resolution No. 467 of 21 June 2017 on the imposition of the obligation to use the National Electronic Instrument in public procurement.

Thus, the National Electronic Tool (NEN) is the only electronic tool used for public procurement (including the receipt of bids from participants) in the Czech Telecommunications Office.
