Harmonized standards can be found on the pages of the Czech technical standards of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) in relation to Directive 1999/5/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “R&TTE Directive”) and, in the Czech Republic, to Government Directive No. 426/2000 Sb. laying down the technical requirements on radio terminal equipment and on telecommunications terminal equipment, as amended.
An overview of harmonised standards relating to the basic requirements laid down by the R&TTE Directive (safety, including restrictions from the perspective of the exposure of persons to electromagnetic fields; electromagnetic compatibility; effective utilisation of the radio spectrum) is presented in Commission Communication 2015/C 226/07.
Radio and telecommunications terminal equipment is divided into two classes based on Section 1(2)(c) of Government Regulation No. 426/2000 Coll., laying down the technical requirements on radio terminal equipment and on telecommunication terminal equipment, as amended, and based on Commission Decision 2000/299/EC of 6 April 2000 establishing the initial classification of radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment and associated identifiers.
