Country Code for Kosovo

The national regulatory authority of Kosovo, ARKEP (Regulatory Authority of Electronic and Postal Communications), informs, that in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation E.164, the International Telecommunication Union assigned to Kosovo the Country Code +383. According to ARKEP’s communication the code +383 was fully implemented in fixed as well as mobile lines in Kosovo on 15 January 2019. Therefore, ARKEP asks all operators who did not do so yet to direct the telecommunication operation to Kosovo through Country Code +383 only.

The information on assignment of the Country Code +383 was published in ITU Operational Bulletin No. 1114 on 15 December 2016.
