PRESS RELEASE: CTU Opinion on O2 complaint to the European Commission on the conditions of the 5G auction

Prague, 22 July 2020 – The Czech News Agency (ČTK) published today an information about the O2 complaint sent to the European Commission regarding the 5G auction conditions prepared by the Czech Telecommunication Office.

Currently, the Czech Telecommunication Office is in the process of settling all comments received to the draft Invitation to Tender for granting of the rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks in the 700 MHz and 3400–3600 MHz frequency bands. The comments shall be settled until 7 August, therefore, CTU will not publish any official statement on the comments.

The European Commission has not yet informed CTU about the mentioned complaint of O2, therefore, CTU cannot publish any official statement in that matter.
