PRESS RELEASE: New Applicants for Frequencies of 5G Networks

Prague, 1 October 2020 – 7 applicants registered to the tender under which the winning applicants will gain block allocations of radio frequencies in the 700 MHz and 3400–3600 MHz bands.

Today, the notary attended the opening of envelopes. 7 applicants delivered their application to tender by the deadline. In accordance with the Electronic Communication Act and conditions of the tender, CTU will not publish the names of applicants at this stage. 

CTU also informs that the Metropolitan Court dismissed all requests on the issuance of an interim order, in order to stop the tender process. None of the operators didn´t succeed with its request.
