ANNOUNCEMENT: Invitation to tender for granting of the rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks in the 700 MHz and 3400–3600 MHz frequency bands

On 7 August 2020, CTU launched a tender for granting of the rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks in the 700 MHz and 3400–3600 MHz frequency bands.

Conditions of the tender are outlined in the body of the Invitation to Tender for Granting of the Rights to Use Radio Frequencies to Provide Electronic Communications Networks in the 700 MHz and 3400–3600 MHz Frequency Bands, ref. ČTÚ-38 426/2020-613 (“Invitation to Tender”) which were published, according to Section 125 Paragraph 2 Point d) of the Act, in the Telecommunication Bulletin on the public administration portal and, at the same time, at the Electronic Notice Board.

Applications to the tender may be delivered to the Czech Telecommunication Office under the conditions set in the Invitation to Tender by 30 September 2020 at the latest.

The documentation to the tender can be found at the Electronic Notice Board in Czech language. Only the Czech version is legally binding for the tender. The English version is non-binding and is published only for information purposes. The tender is subject to the Czech legal order.

At the same time, on 7 August, CTU published (in Czech language only) on the Discussion Site (here) a table with settlement of comments received during the public consultation which ran from 4 June to 7 July 2020.
