COMMUNICATION on the launch of a relevant market analysis: Market No. 5

Pursuant to the Section 51(1) of the Electronic Communication Act, CTU informs that it launched a 5th round of a relevant market analysis: Market No. 5 - Wholesale access to mobile services.

The analysis will be conducted under the current Measure of General Nature No. OOP/1/04.2015-2, as amended by the Measure of General Nature No. OOP/1/12.2019-11, laying down the relevant markets in the electronic communications sector, including criteria for assessment of a significant market power.

CTU is aware of a currently ongoing legislative changes on the European Commission level, which will enter into force in the validity period of the above-metioned relevant market analysis. Therefore, CTU will take into full account all potential changes following the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council, establishing the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC), which is currently being transposed into the national legislation. According to the Article 124 of the EECC, the EU member states shall transpose the EECC by 21 December 2020.
