General authorisation is a measure of a general nature issued by the Office which determines the conditions of undertaking communication activities relating to all or certain types of electronic communication networks and services and to operating devices. The Office is authorised to issue general authorisation to provide electronic communication networks and associated facilities, for the provision of electronic communication services, for the operation of devices and for the use of radio frequencies for which no individual licence must be awarded.
General authorisations for providing networks and electronic communication services are denoted "VO-S/...".General authorisations for the operation of devices and for the use of radio frequencies are denoted "VO-R/...".
