Basic information about the activity of the Czech Telecommunication Office (hereinafter referred to as the “Office”) can be viewed at the information kiosk in the entrance hall at the registered office of the Office, Sokolovská 219, Praha 9, or on this website (see Data which must be published).
An application for information may be lodged verbally or in writing by way of e-mail. If an application is made electronically, it must be submitted to the Office’s electronic e-mail filing room (firstname.lastname@example.org). It must be clear from the application that it is intended for the Office and that the applicant is seeking the provision of information according to Act No. 106/1999 Coll.. A natural person (individual) states in the application his/her first name, surname, date of birth, address of place of permanent residence or, if having no registered permanent residence, address of place of residence and delivery address, if this differs from the address of permanent residence or place of residence. A legal person (entity) states its name, Company Registration Number, address of registered office and delivery address, if this differs from the address of the registered office. An electronic address is also understood to be a delivery address.
Should an application not denote the Office or provide a delivery address and state that the applicant is seeking information according to Act No. 106/1999 Coll., or if an electronic application is not submitted through the electronic filing room, it is not an application under this Act.
