PRESS RELEASE: Hana Továrková is elected BEREC Vice-Chair for 2023

Prague, 6 October 2022 – At the 52nd plenary meeting of the BEREC Board of Regulators (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications), CTU Council Chair, Hana Továrková, was elected as one of the three Vice-Chairs.

“It is great that smaller EU countries such as the Czech Republic and Croatia will be represented in the BEREC leadership,"" said Ivan Marták, Chair of the Slovak Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services.

Next year, BEREC's narrower leadership will be led by Konstantinos Masselos (EETT, Greece). The members of the ""troika"" will be Annemarie Sipkes (ACM, Netherlands), the current BEREC Chair, and Tonko Obuljen (HAKOM, Croatia), who was elected today as Chair for 2024. The CTU Council Chair was elected among the three Vice-Chairs for one year. She will be joined by Robert Mourik (ComReg, Ireland) and Branko Kovijanić (EKIP, Montenegro), who will represent BEREC members outside the European Union.
